Some characters are known for liking flashy, unusual clothing, and some may prefer to wear old-fashioned clothing by the time the story takes place, but this still helps set them apart from other characters and makes them more recognizable. Other times, a character's outfit is more impressive because of what it represents as part of that character's story.
10 Queen Charlotte's Gold Dress
Season 1, Episode 5 – “The Duke and I”
Gold is a color associated with power and wealth, making it a fitting choice for royalty. Queen Charlotte is known for her lavish and varied wardrobe, so a gold dress was a must. The Queen wore such a dress in the famous episode “The Duke and I,” where Simon and Daphne appear before her and plead their case after their garden meetings put their reputations at risk.

It has been noted that the Bridgerton family often wears a shade of blue, often referred to by fans as “Bridgerton blue”, which they incorporate into their clothing in some way if not explicitly wearing the color. This is because blue is often seen as a sign of high social status. Daphne in particular has been seen wearing blue, which likely represents how blue has historically been associated with femininity, also reflecting her role as the heroine of the first season.

In the first episode, “Diamonds at First Water”, Daphne wears an icy blue dress when she is with Simon at the Vauxhall Ball. The dress is paired with white gloves. Daphne also wears a matching blue floral decoration on the side of her hair. The color also highlights Daphne's role as the first Bridgerton daughter to appear.

7 Queen Charlotte's dress in Into the Light
Season 3, Episode 8 – “Into the Light”

In the fourth book, and the third season episode, “Into the Light,” the mysterious writer's true identity is finally revealed to the other characters. Penelope plans to reveal herself, having invited Queen Charlotte herself. In the scene, Queen Charlotte is shown wearing a green dress, decorated with flowers in a variety of colors.

The dress is second only to her wig, which is tied up in a huge pile of curls, covered in colorful ornaments and decorated with feathers. While the green color matches the clothing of the Featherington women in the scene, it also suggests that she will allow Penelope to continue her writing, agreeing that there is some value in gossip. The dark green hues also make Penelope's dress appear blue by comparison, especially when she steps out into the light, reflecting her role as one of the Bridgertons by marriage.

One of her most elegant outfits appears in the first episode, “Diamond of the First Water,” where she hosts the season opening party. She makes a great impression on her guests, wearing a white silk gown adorned with precious stones. The dress has a high neckline, giving her a regal appearance. She also wears a necklace and tiara, which project herself as a woman of great wealth and taste. The dress also stands out as one of the few times Mrs. Danbury wears bright colors.

Portia Featherington is known for her flamboyant tastes. She is the one who made her daughter Penelope wear her famous yellow dresses early in the series. Cressida Cooper is a snobbish girl who acts as a rival and bully to characters such as Daphne and Penelope, though she is somewhat more sympathetic than her novel counterpart. She is known for her extravagant and impractical clothing, which helps reflect her elitist nature. In fact, she is also known for styling her hair in exaggerated styles as well.

However, the most notable feature of the outfit is the lavish pearl and crystal tiara that sits atop her head, with curls cascading downward. Daphne is the eldest. Bridgerton The daughter and heroine of the first series. Since the Queen herself declared her the diamond of the season during her big debut, and she quickly became the most desirable girl in Toon, it only makes sense that her first appearance would make an impression.

Daphne's first outfit was an ivory satin gown with touches of gold, most notably in the patterns on her sleeves and the heart-shaped patterns that ran down her dress. The dress also had a long, flowing train. The white color may make her look like a novice, but she still managed to make an impression on the Queen. She paired her outfit with a gold necklace and tiara. When she first appeared before the Queen, she also flaunted luxurious feathers in her hair.
2 Cressida pink sleeve dress
Season 3, Episode 3 – “Forces of Nature”
Cressida's clothing is noted for becoming more elaborate as the series progresses. This is particularly evident in her sleeves, which become more prominent in her later dresses. While they stand out, this also helps to conjure up an image of her as a sort of “caged bird”, suggesting a possible reason behind her haughty behavior. One of the most notable outfits that reflects this is the outfit she wears while talking to Eloise in the garden in “Forces of Nature”.

The pink dress already has a noticeable floral feel, but the dress makes a real statement with its huge sleeves designed to resemble rosebuds. Cressida has notably used such floral motifs in another dress, once using them to decorate her neckline instead of her sleeves. While wearing the garden costume, Cressida also has her hair arranged in huge braids, which vaguely mimic the shape of a flower.
It is worth noting that the costume is also worn when Cressida explains her plan to marry Lord Dipping, the naturalist, perhaps indicating an attempt to blend in with nature.
1 Penelope's emerald green dress

Penelope lived for years under her mother's care, wearing inappropriate clothes that reflected her mother's style. Ironically, when her mother gave in to the belief that Penelope would never marry and allowed her more freedom, Penelope's true personality began to emerge as she wore clothes, especially colors, that suited her better, which ended up attracting more suitors.

In season three, “Out of the Shadows,” Penelope shines in a dark green dress, adorned with jewels and paired with dark, sheer gloves. The green in particular helps to complement Ben’s red hair, showing that she has a good sense of color contrast.
