2024 MTV VMAs Winners: See the Full List


Believe it or not The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards are officially here. On Wednesday, the biggest names in music gathered for the MTV Video Music Awards to see who will take home the night's top prizes.

Taylor Swift leads the nominees with 10 nominations, nearly all for visual design for the song Tortured Poets Section Swift collaborated on a single with Post Malone called “Fortnite.” The clip was nominated for the ceremony's top award, Video of the Year, giving Swift a chance to claim her fifth win in the category. She was also nominated for Artist of the Year, while “Fortnite” earned additional nominations for Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and a slew of other artistic categories.

Thanks to the dominance of “Fortnight,” Post Malone earned nine nominations, though he also picked up an additional award for Best Collaboration with Morgan Wallen, “I Had Some Help.” Ariana Grande also earned six nominations, as did Eminem and first-time VMA nominee Sabrina Carpenter.

The Artist of the Year category includes Swift, Grande, Eminem, Carpenter, Bad Bunny, and SZA. The Best New Artist category includes Benson Boone, Chappelle Rowan, Gracie Abrams, Shabozi, Teddy Swims, and Tila.

The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards have 29 first-time nominees, many of whom have earned multiple nominations, including Carpenter, Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, Tyla, Chappell Roan, Jelly Roll, Sexy Red, Victoria Monét, Murph, and Raw Alejandro. There are a handful of additional big names who have earned their first nominations as well, including Morgan Wallen, Burna Boy, Coco Jones, Gracie Abrams, Gunna, Playboi Carti, Raye, and Tyler Childers.

Megan Thee Stallion was the host for the night.
