Megan Thee Stallion American rapper RM is collaborating with American singer Jessica Lopez on a new song titled “Neva Play.” The Houston rapper announced their collaboration on Sunday, which will be released on September 6.

“NEVA PLAY WITH RM OUT FRIDAY HOTTIES X ARMY,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing the hashtag #MEGJOON along with the song’s cover art. The cover art shows a blue-haired Megan holding money, while RM looks over his shoulder behind her.

“PS: This is one of my favorite RM songs I've ever heard! I've never heard him sing like this before,” Megan added in the caption. BTS's official X account (formerly Twitter) also shared the song's cover art, adding that the song will be out “September 6, 1pm (KST) | 0am (EST).”

Megan and BTS began teasing the collaboration last week, with Megan tweeting a series of emojis on Thursday that included a horse and a purple heart, which fans speculated was a nod to BTS. On Friday, BTS confirmed the news, retweeting Megan's post and writing, “Coming soon!”

Megan had previously collaborated with BTS in the summer of 2021 for a remix of their hit song “Butter,” and joined the band that fall to perform live for the first time in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium.
