“It is, unfortunately, a collection of stories strung together, which never fit together—at least not yet—into the overall panorama of America's turbulent development that Costner and his co-screenwriter, John Baird, must have envisioned.”

Unfortunately, even the most positive review of Chapter Two This is not a glowing report on the film's success.
