Swift announced her endorsement of Harris on Tuesday after the Harris-Trump debate. “I think she is a talented and steady leader and I think we can accomplish a lot in this country if we have calm and not chaos,” she said. “I am encouraged and impressed by her choice of Tim Walz as her running mate, who has been an advocate for LGBT rights, IVF, and women’s rights to their own bodies for decades.”

Following Swift’s endorsement, a series of third-party merchandise emerged highlighting Swift’s support for Harris. The Harris campaign even had some official Harris-Waltz friendship bracelets—like the ones Swifties make and Swifties wears frequently—but those sold out quickly. In an attempt not to be outdone, the Trump campaign tried to release its own products using the original Eras tour merchandise design.
