Kid Cudi Pays Homage to New York City in ‘Don’t Worry’ Music Video


The new single, released alongside rapper Moon man #4 Cartoon, featuring Chip the Ripper

Kid Cudi has released a new song titled “Don’t Worry” along with a music video he directed for the song. The song, which features Chip tha Ripper, accompanies the fourth issue of Kid Cudi’s comic book series, Moon man.

The music video features Cudi and Chip tha Ripper on the streets and rooftops of New York City, as well as in a studio. The title card at the beginning of the video states, “I moved to New York in 2004. Over the years it has become my second home. To the people of New York, this is a love letter to you. Thank you for always making me feel like family.”

According to a press release, Kid Cudi plans to unveil Kid Cudi Provides Soundtrack for Moon Man Along with his own comic series “Coming Very Soon.” Issue 4 is available now via Image Comics.

Earlier this year, Kid Cudi was forced to cancel his tour after breaking his foot at Coachella. During the second weekend of the festival on Sunday night, the rapper was hospitalized with a broken foot after jumping off the stage in the desert tent. “We have to cancel the tour so I can focus on getting better and being the best I can be out there and raging with y’all,” the rapper explained in a statement, adding that the injury was “more serious than I thought.”
