Elle King Clarifies Comments on ‘Toxic’ Father Rob Schneider


Elle King doesn't appear to be backing down from any of the unflattering allegations she made about her father Rob Schneider last month, though she did come out this week to say she had no malicious intent.

“I never imagined it would go viral,” the singer said. the people “I was just talking about my childhood and my truth. I wasn't trying to hurt him,” she added.

She spoke about the trauma she experienced as a child because of Schneider, claiming she was sent to a “fat camp” as a child. “Then I got in trouble one year because I sprained my ankle and I didn't lose any weight. It was so toxic and so ridiculous,” she said.

The next day, Schneider went on Tucker Carlson's podcast, asking his daughter for forgiveness. “I wish I could have been the father I needed in my 20s. And obviously I wasn't. I hope you can forgive me for my shortcomings. I love you completely, I love you completely,” he said.
