During Charli XCX's stop at Madison Square Garden to headline her Sweet Tour with Troye Sivan, the “Von Dutch” singer joined Lorde during her performance on Monday.
In a surprise performance, Lorde took to the stage to perform her remix of “Girl, so confused” alongside Charli for the first time. The duo strutted side-by-side as they sang the opening verse: “People say we look alike/ They say we have the same hair/ You and me on the currency that the industry likes to spend/ And when we put that in perspective, the internet is going crazy/ I’m glad I know how you feel.”
Addison Rae also joined Charlie on stage, alongside Sivan, to debut her new song, “Diet Pepsi,” and perform a remix of “Von Dutch,” which also featured updated production from AG Cook.
The Sweat Tour kicked off on September 14 in Detroit, Michigan, at Little Caesars Arena, and is currently scheduled to end on October 23 in Seattle, Washington. Charlie and Sivan will visit Toronto, Columbus, Philadelphia, Nashville, Atlanta, Orlando, San Diego, Portland, and more during their extensive tour.
