Britney Spears Says ‘I Love’ Halsey, Takes Back ‘Upset’ Comment


Britney Spears has walked back her comments about Halsey's “Lucky” music video. Minutes after writing on X that she felt “violated and bullied” by the Gia Coppola-directed video, which was inspired by Halsey's health struggles, Spears claimed she wasn't the one who posted the statement.

In her original post, The pop star, who released the song “Gimme More,” claimed she was “deeply disturbed” by the video, which drew aesthetic inspiration from Britney Spears but appeared to reference Halsey’s health struggles. “I feel harassed, violated and bullied,” she wrote in the post. The now-deleted post threatened to pursue legal action against Halsey, calling the video “absolutely cruel.”
