Fantastic Four Reveals New Title During Marvel Studios’ SDCC Panel

The Marvel Studios SDCC panel offered very little new information about the new The Fantastic Four The movie, but he revealed a new addition to the title of next year's movie. Instead of being named after Marvel's first family, the official title of the movie will be Fantastic Four: The First Steps.

The panel also showed some test footage and designs from the film, with descriptions suggesting that Galactus' appearance in the film would be “steampunk” in appearance. The test footage was also described as showing Galactus “looking through a building,” suggesting that the cosmic being would be just as massive as fans have come to expect.

The Fantastic Four will hit theaters in 2025 as part of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel president Kevin Feige seems as excited as anyone to finally bring The Fantastic Four to the MCU, and has previously hinted at Marvel's First Family finally joining the likes of Spider-Man and Doctor Strange on the big screen.

“I'm really excited about it because I think these characters are the cornerstones,
Mythical pillars of the Marvel universe that we never got to play with or explore in a significant way.
“Outside of Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness and some fun teases before that, the way we're approaching this movie. So I'm really excited about that.”
