Katherine Renee Kane to Leave the Cast During Season 7

Katherine Renee Keen will leave the cast of “FBI” after appearing in at least one episode of its upcoming seventh season.

Kane plays Special Agent Tiffany Wallace, described as the “smart and forthright” partner of Special Agent Stuart Scola (John Boyd) and worked with the NYPD for six years before starting work for the FBI.

Kane joined the FBI in 2020, during its third season and following the departure of Ebony Noel, who played special agent and intelligence analyst Christine Chazal. The news of Kane's departure comes after Lisette Oliveira was cast in season seven as a Behavioral Analysis Unit agent named Syd.

The FBI series follows the investigations of a group of special agents working out of the bureau's New York City office. In addition to Boyd and Olivera, the cast includes Missy Peregrym as Maggie Bell, Zico Zaki as Omar Adom “OA” Zidane, Alana De La Garza as Isobel Castile, and Jeremy Sisto as Jubal Valentine. The series premiered in 2018 and is the lead in the “FBI” series, while spinoffs “FBI: Most Wanted” and “FBI: International” launched in 2020 and 2021, respectively. CBS renewed all three series earlier this year, with “FBI” getting a three-season renewal; new seasons of each will premiere on CBS on October 15.

Dick Wolf created “FBI” and serves as executive producer alongside Mike Weiss, Alex Chappell, Amanda Slater, Rick Eid and Peter Jankowski. Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television produce in association with CBS Studios.

Deadline was the first to report Kane's exit.
