controversial Vanderpump Rules Star Stassi Schroeder is returning to reality TV. As part of a development deal with Hulu, Schroeder will lead her own series, Stacey saysand reuniting with former Lisa Vanderpump for season two of Vanderpump Villa (Via Deadline.) Schroeder joins Bravo Vanderpump Rules An original cast member in 2013, she appeared on the series until its eighth season (in 2020), when she was fired, along with fellow cast member Kristen Doute, for racially insensitive behavior. Doute returned to reality television with Bravo. The Valley Earlier this year.
Schroeder co-created Stacey says Next to the previous Vanderpump Rules Producers Erin Foy and Gina Rosenfeld. The trio will executive produce the series with Scout Productions. The official synopsis for the show reads:
“Stassi is an infinitely sympathetic character, both hysterical and questionably rational, and she serves as the anchor for a new group of comical, chaotic characters dealing with identity crises and major crossroads in their own lives — and Stassi is the one who has to keep them all alive.”
Schroeder will also join the upcoming second season of Vanderpump Villawhich follows the hand-picked cast of Vanderpump's lavish French villa, Chateau Rosabelle, as they live and collaborate to cater to the extravagant desires of their wealthy visitors, as a main cast member. Vanderpump celebrated Schroeder's addition to the show's second season with a celebratory video shared on Instagram.

In 2018, Schroeder and Doty called the police on black co-worker Faith Stowers, claiming she was a woman wanted for theft (the incident came after a cheating scandal between Stowers and Doty). I didn’t understand that just because it’s not about race for me doesn’t mean it’s not about race for the other person,” she said. “I bring my experience as a privileged white woman to this situation, and she brings her experience as a black woman to this situation. Because it’s about race for her, it’s about race. That’s something I’ve realized.”
