Andy and Sal's killers aren't inherently bad people.

Despite what Pip might initially believe, two people were responsible for Andy and Sal’s deaths, and neither of them were inherently bad people or planning to do anything terrible. In fact, one of them was someone she trusted completely, specifically the father of her mentor and best friend, Elliot Ward (Matthew Baynton). While he certainly did something terrible, His circumstances forced him to make rash decisions that he later regretted..

In the midst of his grief for his late wife, Elliot began a relationship with Andy but eventually ended the affair. However, when she threatened to expose their affair unless he gave her money, she became physical with Elliot, who responded in kind, causing her to hit her head on the kitchen table. She fled his home before he could properly assess her injuries, but Elliot always believed that he caused her death, given that she disappeared that same night.
