A24 has revealed its next nightmare.
The indie favorite is teaming up with Chernin Entertainment on “Altar,” directed by “Sputnik” director Igor Abramenko and starring “Good One” star Lily Kolias and newcomer Hudson Behling.
The cast is rounded out by January Jones (“Mad Men”), David Krumholtz (“Oppenheimer”) and Kyle MacLachlan (“Fallout”).
The film is written by Will Sudick (Westworld) and is based on a short story by Philip Fracassi. Although plot details have not been revealed, the project is described as a horror film that follows a young boy's summer as he is forced to grow up faster than he ever imagined.
A24 will be responsible for global distribution.
