Alison Brie has become the latest star to join the live-action adaptation of “Masters of the Universe” from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films.
Brie has been cast as Evil-Lyn, and stars alongside Nicholas Galitzine (who plays He-Man) and Camila Mendes (as Teela).
Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings, Bumblebee) is directing the film adaptation of the popular series, with Chris Butler writing the screenplay, after David Callaham, Aaron and Adam Nee wrote the initial drafts. Robbie Brenner of Mattel Films and Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch of Escape Artists will produce the film.
Details of the plot are being kept under wraps for the film, which is set to open exclusively in cinemas worldwide on June 5, 2026.
Brie is represented by WME and Rise Management. The casting news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
