In July, Wilson revealed that she was undergoing treatment for cancer and that Heart would have to postpone their remaining North American tour dates.
In a statement at the time, she said she had recently undergone “surgery to remove something that turned out to be cancerous.” Although she was “feeling much better” after the “successful” operation, the musician decided to follow her doctor's advice to “undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy.”

Discussion of the reunion during Rolling Stone In an interview earlier this year, Ann said, “We were really tired of not playing together, and we wanted to do the Heart tour. So there's this question hanging in the air: Can Heart be Heart without Ann or can Heart be Heart without Nancy?”

In her post on Wednesday, Anne concluded, “My story has a happy ending, partly due to my early detection advice.” She advised her fans, “Get checked regularly. Love you all, and I'll see you very soon. So much to celebrate.”
