Banijay Asia has partnered with India’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) to develop original series and films, as well as adapt global blockbusters for Indian audiences.
NGE is led by Deepak Dhar, CEO of Banijay Asia (part of Banijay Entertainment), and veteran producer Sajid Nadiadwala, CEO of NGE. The alliance aims to create premium content for viewers in India and beyond.
Nadiadwala is known for films like Housefull and Baaghi, as well as critically acclaimed films like Chhichhore, Super 30 and Highway. His recent releases include Chandu Champion and Satyaprem Ki Katha. Housefull 5, the latest installment of the hit comedy franchise starring Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, is slated to release soon.
Banijay Asia has made its mark with adaptations such as ‘The Night Manager’ (Disney+ Hotstar) and ‘Call My Agent: Bollywood’ (Netflix) as well as originals such as ‘Dahan’ (Disney+ Hotstar) and ‘Undekhi’ (SonyLIV). The company’s portfolio also includes popular unscripted shows such as ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and ‘MTV Roadies’. Upcoming releases include Hindi adaptations of ‘Monk’, ‘House’ and ‘Suits’.

The Nadiadwala family has been in the film production business since 1955. Abdul Karim Nadiadwala, followed by Abdul Ghaffar Nadiadwala, Farooq Nadiadwala, Habib Nadiadwala and Sulaiman Nadiadwala have produced over 200 films. Sajid Nadiadwala's debut as a producer was “Zulm Ki Hukumat” (1992).
