Betty Gilpin Dishes on Deep Drama Three Women & Mrs. Davis Season 2

The amazing Betty Gilpin spoke with MovieWeb's Greg Archer about her new STARZ series Three Women, working with co-stars DeWanda Wise, Shailene Woodley, Gabrielle Creevey and Blair Underwood. She also discussed her hit series Mrs. Davis and the possibility of a second season.

The 10-episode series, based on the New York Times bestselling book of the same name by Lisa Taddeo, will premiere Friday, September 13 at midnight on the STARZ app. On Line, it will premiere on STARZ at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT in the US.

The series follows three women on an intensive course to radically change their lives. Lena (Betty Gilpin), a suburban Indiana housewife, has been in a loveless marriage for a decade when she embarks on an all-consuming affair that changes her life. Sloane (DeWanda Wise), a charming Northeastern businesswoman, has a committed open marriage to Richard (Blair Underwood), until two exciting new strangers threaten their ambitious romance. Maggie (Gabrielle Creevey), a student in North Dakota, weathers a storm when her married English teacher (Jason Ralph) is accused of having an inappropriate relationship. Gia (Shailene Woodley), a writer grieving the loss of her family, convinces each of these remarkable, “ordinary” women to tell her their stories, and her relationships with them change the course of her life forever.
