Big Sean has announced a new release date for his upcoming album. I am better than you In a touching video shared on social media on Friday, the album, which was originally scheduled for release on August 9, will be released on August 30.
“The album will be released this week,” he said. Finally famous Rapper during Instagram Live: “I appreciate my mom because she was that guardian angel that always gave me that advice. She really talked to me about it. Like I said, I didn’t sleep a lot. I put my whole life into this. I’m completely drained. I’m tired. I do this shit for people that mess with me.”
Sean also encouraged fans to check out his Soundcloud, where he may be releasing more songs. “An album is never enough, really. It's too much music. Especially stuff that's unobtainable or whatever — it's like, fuck, we're going.”
After a Kanye West fan leaked much of his album online last month, Big Sean announced his new album the next day, releasing a single called “Yes.”
