Blink-182 has cancelled its concerts in Kansas City and St. Louis “due to illness.” The band announced the news on social media last night, though it did not confirm who specifically was affected.

Rolling Stone Of the band's Lollapalooza set, he wrote, “It's strange to see Mark Hopps and Tom DeLonge swapping sex jokes together again—plus a memorable quip about Ben being owned by DeLonge's mom. “I didn’t know that Blink was getting back together or that I was going to share the stage with Tom,” Hobbs told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 last year. “I told management, I told Travis, I told everybody, ‘I’m never going to step foot on stage with this guy again. I don’t have a chance.’”

That all changed in 2021 when Hobbs was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma. Hobbs decided to keep the news relatively quiet, and as it happened, DeLonge actually reached out to Hobbs before she knew the diagnosis. In classic Blink fashion—where sultry humor meets deep emotion—Hobbs recalled receiving a text from DeLonge from the set of an Angels and Airwaves music video. It was accompanied by a photo of DeLonge with “six women in their underwear and high heels.”

“It was similar to what happened to Travis when he had an accident in the past,” DeLong said. “Nothing really matters. It’s all stupid and marginal and insignificant when real human things happen. So, it feels like an instant thing. I feel like there’s a real sense of brotherhood between us. Like any brothers, you have little disagreements over the years, and you drift apart. You come back together. But you always have a foundation that binds you together.”
