While attending Fan Expo Canada in Toronto, Bryce Dallas Howard took part in a panel discussion moderated by Collider's Maggie Lovett, where she revealed that Disney has dropped the Witch MountainHoward said that while he enjoyed filming the pilot, the series is not moving forward, which is unfortunately the case in the industry, where some projects do not make it past the pilot stage. Howard said:
“That didn’t happen, which is disappointing. It was really great, and we all had a great time filming it here in Toronto. Some things work, some things don’t, and that’s the sad truth of this industry.”
