Kathryn Curtin, known for her role as correctional officer Wanda Bell on “Orange Is the New Black,” has signed with Fusion Entertainment.
Curtin recently finished producing Jason Reitman's “Saturday Night,” in which he portrayed Joan Carbuncle, the NBC censor who confronts showrunner Lorne Michaels and the rest of the “Saturday Night Live” creative team during the show's first season.
Curtin has appeared in over 150 films and television shows, appearing in “Partner Track,” “Homeland,” and “Insecure.” Her credits also include roles in “Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens,” “Tommy,” “The Loudest Voice,” “The Blacklist,” “Mindhunter,” “Blue Bloods,” “Bull,” “Law & Order,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “The Naked Brothers Band,” and “Surveillance.” Additionally, she had a recurring role on the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things,” appearing in 11 episodes.
Her upcoming productions include Bad Guys, which screened at Tribeca, and If This Mockingbird Don't Sing, which screened at the Bentonville Film Festival.
Curtin's other credits include “Werewolves Within,” “Bad Education,” “Worth,” “Poof,” “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,” “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Chemical Hearts,” “Founders Day,” and “The Bourne Legacy.” Many of her films have been honored at prestigious festivals including Cannes, Palm Springs, Aspen Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW, and Sundance.
On stage, Curtin appeared in the original Broadway production of Six Degrees of Separation and played Janis Joplin in the off-Broadway production of Love, Janis, receiving a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination.
