CBS Moves Up ‘Tracker,’ ‘Equalizer’ Season Premieres

CBS has announced that the season premieres of “Tracker” and “The Equalizer” have been postponed to earlier dates.

Both shows were originally scheduled to premiere on October 27 after two NFL games. Instead, the second season of “Tracker” will premiere at the beginning of its premiere week on CBS on Sunday, October 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, serving as a prequel to the season finale of “Big Brother.”

Season 5 of “The Equalizer” will now air as part of CBS’ premiere weekend schedule on October 20, airing at 9:30 p.m. The series will move to its regular 9 p.m. time slot starting November 3.

You can see the full updated schedule below.

CBS revealed its fall premiere dates earlier in July. While the network typically holds its premiere week in September, it has opted to push it to October this year with a few notable exceptions. Season 47 of “Survivor” will debut on Sept. 18, while the reboot of “Matlock” starring Kathy Bates will premiere early on Sept. 22, and the competition series “The Summit” will launch on Sept. 29.
