The film currently holds a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes (and maintains a solid 76% from audiences). It’s a general hit with critics, who have praised Soderbergh for his directorial vision, the cast for their comedic chops, and writer Jules Asner for a clever plot. In a MovieWeb review, Julian Roman wrote that “Rural Heist” is “another feather in a great filmmaker’s cap” and called Driver and Craig “the standouts in a great cast.” Simply put: It’s a fun film to watch, especially from the comfort of your couch.

While George Clooney recently confirmed that the script for the fourth part of the film has been completed. Oceans 11 A trilogy of films is in the works, but unfortunately we won't see Soderbergh return to the helm. In January, he stated that he turned down the opportunity to expand the franchise:

“After we made the third movie, I felt like the series was over for me. When the studio called me to see if I would be involved in continuing the series, I told them no, because it didn't seem like a step forward for me.”
