Chappelle Rowan joined Olivia Rodrigo on stage at her “Guts” tour concert at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on Tuesday night.
“I think she is one of the most unique, inspiring and powerful artists I have ever had the opportunity to meet, and I am so excited that she will be singing one of my all-time favorite songs,” Rodrigo told the crowd before welcoming Rowan.
“We're going to sing a song, and we're going to teach you a dance,” Rowan said at the “Guts” concert in Los Angeles.
The two singers then began singing a duet of Roan's song “Hot To Go!”, with Roan and Rodrigo jumping together and performing the signature dance of the hit song.
These latest shows are the final stop on Rodrigo’s U.S. dates before he travels to Thailand, South Korea, China, Japan, Singapore and Australia for the latter half of the year. Rowan’s appearance puts a nice button on Rodrigo’s U.S. tour as the singer originally opened the Guts World Tour in February 2024. Rowan’s run will end in April, setting the stage for a completely packed schedule for the newcomer at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Governors Ball and Outside Lands.
The duo met through Rodrigo's longtime producer and songwriter partner, Dan Nigro. Together, Rodrigo and Nigro have produced many of her biggest hits, including “Vampire,” “Bad Idea Right,” and the recent hit “Pretty Isn't Pretty.” Nigro and Rowan have been working together since 2020, most recently releasing the hit “Good Luck, Babe.”
