‘Dancing With the Stars’ Cast: Season 33 Celeb-Pro Partners

What happens when four athletes, an ex-con and a few reality TV stars walk into a dance floor? Viewers will find out on season 33 of Dancing with the Stars!

The pairings of professional dancers and celebrities competing on the new season were revealed on “Good Morning America” Wednesday morning.

The day before the casting announcement, GLAAD revealed that former troupe member Ezra Sosa had been promoted to pro for Season 33 — the first Latin dance pro to appear in several years. He first joined the series in 2021 and it has changed his professional and personal life.

“When I first joined the show, I felt this imposter syndrome because I wasn’t there at the time… and it wasn’t until this year that I realized the power of that, the power of being a productive person and the power of really being yourself,” he said. “When I first joined the show, it was the first time I was in an environment where I really felt accepted. And that gives me a huge sense of becoming the person I am today.”

He also said that JoJo Siwa gave him the courage to come out after they met when she competed.

This season, he'll appear with one of the group's most controversial celebrities, Anna Delvey, who is known for going to prison for fraud — a story that came to life in 2022 with the Netflix miniseries, “Inventing Anna.”

The duets will be judged by a panel of ballroom dancing experts, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro return as hosts.

Season 33 premieres on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesday, September 17, and will be available to stream on Hulu the following day. Dancing with the Stars is produced by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions.
