However, that is not enough for some, as fans have wondered if an extended version of the film could be released in the future, or a so-called “Levycut,” if you will. Deadpool and Wolverine The film was a huge box office success, and quickly became the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time domestically.
Shawn Levy spoke to Collider about the success of Deadpool and WolverineHe was asked about the possibility of releasing an extended version of the film in the future. Levy quickly rejected the idea, much to the disappointment of fans.The director said that the version Deadpool and Wolverine The final cut of the film was released in theaters. Levy, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, and everyone involved in the film were so happy with the final cut that they didn't see fit to re-edit the film into a longer version. Levy said:
This is the final version of the film. There will be no extended version because this is the version we wanted.
However, all hope is not lost for MCU fans who want to see more of the Deadpool and WolverineWhile the extended version is a myth, Reynolds and Levy have hinted at what will be included in the film’s bonus features when it’s released on Blu-ray later this year, and the selections appear to be slim. The special features will include some deleted scenes, director (and actor) commentary, and a montage of stand-ins. Levy said:
However, there are some deleted scenes that will be included, as well as commentary from Ryan and myself.
Then Ryan Reynolds upped the ante. Deadpool and WolverineParody video. The actor explained that the video basically consists of alternate takes of the jokes featured in the film. As he put it:

“I think a lot of people think I just show up, pull the strings and improvise all day. But I don't do that.
We write everything. We write 10 alternative jokes for any given joke.
“I don't just write jokes for myself, I write them for other characters. There might not even be a single line in the background.”
