Deadpool & Wolverine Has a Cameo That Even Ryan Reynolds Didn’t Know About

Deadpool and Wolverine The movie has so many short scenes and Easter eggs that it's really hard to keep track of them all. But there's one really important short scene that even the star of the movie can't take it in. Ryan ReynoldsIn fact, he knew it. Not that the actor is always aware of everything that's going on, but this particular cameo puts Reynolds in close proximity to another Marvel superhero who didn't appear in his movie: the spider-sense Avenger, played by Tom Holland.

Reynolds also revealed in an Instagram Story that he discovered that Holland's little brother, Harry Holland, was appearing in the film as a stand-in. Reynolds was actually reposting a story from stunt coordinator George Cottle, who uploaded a photo of Holland in his Deadpool costume. Cottle's caption read: “When @slevydirect and @vancityreynolds set the bar so high, even the stunt team needed a special guest star!! It may not be this. [be] “The Holland the world wanted, but the Holland we all needed!! @harryholland64 You smashed it mate! #haroldpool.”

Reynolds reposted the story and added: “That's how you found out?! Tell me?” Holland also reposted the story and added: “There are a lot of short scenes in dead pool…” All of the stories and reposts have since expired, but thanks to Deadline, we were able to share a screenshot of Reynolds' digital bewilderment:

Deadpool and Wolverine The film is breaking multiple box office records, and Marvel Cinematic Universe executives are unanimous in their belief that adding an R-rated character to their roster is a success. There’s no other way to say it: The film had the best opening weekend for any R-rated film in history (nearly half a billion people worldwide in a single weekend). It also had the best opening for any film in 2024 (so far). Joker: Madness in DuoWill another big animated movie likely to be released in 2024 outdo this one? It's still hard to say.

The film’s brilliant blend of action and comedy will also be hard to beat. Audiences seem to love the character breaking the fourth wall in his most absurd film yet, as he joins franchise character Wolverine to restore order to his world by merging the multiverse and comics. It was clear that Reynolds and his team of writers were going to take this direction with Deadpool and WolverineHowever, upon the film’s release, some critics despised the film’s stance on pop culture and fan service. When it comes to entertainment, there’s nothing better than a film that pushes the boundaries this far. Much of this comes from the brief cameos in the film. We won’t reveal exactly what they are, but we will tell you that many calls had to be made, many checks had to be signed, and cameos in previous films had to be confronted by those who aren’t exactly keen on rewatching them.

Deadpool and Wolverine
