After her impressive appearance in Deadpool and Wolverine, Logan star Dafne Keen Marvel Studios is hoping Laura/X-23 has a long future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios' latest big hit, directed by Shawn Levy, brings its eponymous heroes (played by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, respectively) to the edges of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as fans bid farewell to Fox's X-Men In the world of cinema. Along the way, the duo is joined by some longtime fan favorites and exciting new additions, including Blade (Wesley Snipes), Elektra (Jennifer Garner) and Gambit (Channing Tatum). The four supporting heroes are confirmed to have survived the events of Deadpool and WolverineThis means there is a chance that we will see them again in the future.
While Wesley Snipes and Jennifer Garner may be done with their respective characters, Dafne Keen isn’t ready to give up her role as X-23. Speaking to Empire, the actress was asked about her potential future in the MCU. The actress didn’t reveal much (likely under threat of Marvel Studios’ secret spoiler squad) about any potential projects she might have already signed on to, but Keen is keen to play the character again in another MCU film. She said:
“I will do this 100% for the rest of my life.”

Not much is revealed about Laura's backstory, as Logan The film focused heavily on the aging Wolverine. When Laura returned to our screens in Deadpool and WolverineThe level of excitement was matched by a flood of questions. How did she end up in The Void? Did she form a new X-Men team? What happened to her in between? Logan and Deadpool and Wolverine?
Dafne Keen hopes to answer all of these questions and more in another MCU project. Speaking to the Phase Zero podcast recently, the actress revealed that she's looking forward to returning as Laura in the future, and said Marvel Studios hasn't started developing her character yet. Keen said:
“I would love to come back. I would pay them to come back. It was the greatest honor of my life to play Laura. For me, we only get to see so little of her because she is such a complex character. She is so wonderful, just from a fan perspective.”
