The character draws heavily from classic Western actors such as John Wayne, Gary Cooper, and Randolph Scott, but the most notable inspiration for the character is undoubtedly Clint Eastwood's The Man with No Name, from Sergio Leone's film. Cowboypool was originally supposed to look more like Eastwood's famous character.The cowboy in the movie wears a belt on his chest, a cowboy hat, and two pistols. Additionally, the character is adorned in the design with a red fur vest, as well as dark brown pants. In the commentary, Bacaldo explained the process of designing Cowboypool, revealing that the version was one of the first versions conceived for the film. He wrote:


“Cowboypool was one of the first places that was conceived. [Costume designer] Mays [Rubeo] “We wanted to pay homage to the Western genre. We took inspiration from great icons like Clint Eastwood. We adapted the shapes, materials and motifs to create a more natural atmosphere. Even Deadpool’s poncho pattern was made using traditional knitting. He turned out to be a very daring man!”

Artist Wesley Burt was the first to announce the concept art book. Burt has not given an official release date for the book, only that he is certain it is in the works. Rumor has it that the book will be released at a later date. The art book will be available from October this year.However, no one from Marvel Studios has commented on the status of the film. It is common for studios to release art/story books for their popular films, especially those in the superhero genre. But with no release date confirmed, fans will have to scroll through social media to see what could have been in the film.
