“One of the things that’s really fun for me is that the original movie focused on the battle of the sexes and the corporate world. And for me, I see a lot of the conflict happening between generations, like Gen Z versus baby boomers in the workplace, and how we now have a whole generation of people who have learned to set boundaries, and that’s actually, shockingly enough, a new development.

“There are other generations in the corporate world that we're being asked to put up with. So there's definitely a culture clash here, and I thought, 'Oh, this seems very ripe for comedic treatment.'”
