Fleetwood Mac Memorabilia Heading to Julien’s Auction


McJulien's Auctions will Celebrate the life and legacy of Christine McVie with an auction at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. A selection of the late Fleetwood Mac’s wardrobe and musical instruments, as well as personal memorabilia, jewelry and awards, will be offered in an auction titled “Christine McVie’s Life and Career.”

The event is scheduled to take place on October 16 and 17.Proceeds from the auction will benefit MusiCares and other charities. Among the collection is McVie's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame award, which was presented to her in 1998; an RIAA plaque for the artist representing multi-platinum record sales; Rumors Also included, Along with the lace jacket she wore while performing at the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala honoring Fleetwood Mac in January 2018.

“This auction is more than just a memorabilia sale. It is a celebration of McVie’s extraordinary talent and lasting impact on music,” Julien’s Auctions wrote in a statement. “From writing some of Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits like ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘Little Lies’ to her successful solo career, she paved the way for female artists in the industry. Her legacy lives on through her music, and this auction gives fans the opportunity to own a piece of that legacy.”

The complete set features a Grammy Award nomination for Album of the Year. Rumorskeyboards, a series of piano cases, gold and diamond jewelry, photos of McVie with John McVie, signed posters, furniture, trinkets, and more.

McVie joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970. She went on to write (and co-write) some of the band's most famous songs, including Rumors Classic songs “Don't Stop” and “You Make Love Fun”, plus “Hold Me,” “Little Lies” and “Over My Head.”
