Former SNL Star Victoria Jackson Reveals Devastating Health Diagnosis

Referring to her tumor as “marble,” Jackson said doctors “can't operate and cut out the marble in my chest that's on my windpipe, which could eventually choke me to death.” Instead, doctors prescribed ribociclib, a cancer drug that works by blocking proteins that tumors use to grow. “They’re giving me a magic pill, and it’s going to be delivered to my door in the next 12 hours,” Jackson said in her video. “It’s based on ribociclib, and it’s going to shrink the marble, hopefully… I Googled it and people who take it have 32.6 months to live.”


Jackson, who has two adult children, said she hopes to see her grandchild born in October, and future grandchildren in the future, if her time is really short. “I would love to see my grandson — his name is Jamie — born in October and get to know him a little bit, and I would love to see my daughter Aubrey have a baby,” she said, noting that her time frame for survival is based on her online research, not an estimate from her doctor.
