Christie recently sat down with Radio Times to discuss her upcoming film, Robin and the gangI took a moment to think about it. Owns Legacy. The actress said. She invested so much in portraying her character that she didn't notice any of the fan reception to the show.Whether positive or negative. While much of the fan base turned on producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss after the eighth and final season, Christie praised their work in adapting George R.R. Martin’s beloved novels. Christie said:
“I didn't care much about it because I was so concerned with my personality.
I played a great character that I loved so much and it was so rich and there was so much to explore.
. I love the writing. I love the character that George R.R. Martin created. I love the adaptation that he did. [showrunners] David [Benioff] And Dan [Weiss]“I thought that was really cool.”

Gwendoline Christie never stopped developing Brienne of Tarth.
It seems the only person who loves Brienne of Tarth more than the show’s devoted fan base is Christie herself. During the conversation, the actress shared how determined she is to perfect her portrayal of the beloved character. Christie said she has never stopped working on the best way to portray Brienne across her 7-season arc. The actress explained:
“The character has fed me all these years.
The character never stopped feeding me, and I never stopped working on the character until the end.
“Even in things that surprised people, like when Brian smiled when she was knighted. It made perfect sense to me that she didn’t really smile. This is the one time she smiled, because she got what she wanted in a very intimate and special way.”
While Christie's time in Westeros is over for good (though nothing has been officially confirmed), her character will have major connections to the protagonist. game of thronesLatest sub-series titled Knight of the Seven KingdomsThe new series revolves around the events of game of thrones The introductory part is underway.
