“Most of the cinematographers I've worked with as an actor,
I was always a nuisance at some point in the middle of the movie, asking them questions and learning.

Ribisi shares the future of Horizon and Avatar

That's not to say that Ribisi hasn't been busy in front of the camera as well, especially in two of the most epic film series in history. The first is HorizonWhere Ribisi was briefly spotted at the end of Chapter One During the teaser of what's to come in the sequel, Ribisi said, “I'm a huge fan of Kevin Costner and the path he took to get to where he is now, making these movies,” and then teased the future:

I think he spent 37 years writing these movies with the other writer. There are four movies, you know. It's the same with
Chapter Two
I'm only in for a brief moment, but my character will be back in parts three and four, and I think we'll be doing that sometime next year.

And then there is AvatarOf course, Ribisi played a pivotal role in the first film that won James Cameron an Oscar in 2009. “We had been working on the third part for just a few months,” he said. “We looked around and said, ‘Oh my god… we've been making these movies for 18 years.“Or something like that.
