Hayley Williams attacked US President Donald Trump during Paramore's concert at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, warning her fans about Project 2025 and encouraging them to vote.
During Paramore's performance of “Big Man, Little Integrity,” Williams focused on the camera that was streaming the concert live on Hulu and spoke directly to both the Las Vegas crowd and the audience at home.
“Project 2025 is Donald Trump’s playbook for controlling and punishing women, the poor, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community,” Williams said.

“It is time for all Americans to come together and finally defeat Trump’s agenda. And the only way to do that is to confront him at the ballot box. Do you want to live under a dictatorship? Well, show up and vote.”
Williams has long used her microphone to condemn Republicans for their anti-LGBTQ laws, including at a Washington, D.C., show in June 2023 where she told fans, “If you vote for Ron DeSantis, you're dead to me. Is that comfortable enough for anybody?”
Earlier this year, Paramore rejected a Tennessee resolution to honor the band for winning a Grammy after the state's Republican-leaning House of Representatives rejected a similar resolution honoring Allison Russell.
“This week, Rep. Justin Jones introduced resolutions to honor my band, Paramore, and another Nashville artist, Allison Russell, for our recent Grammy wins (as far as I can tell, these resolutions have no legal weight. They’re like a big shout-out or when the entire restaurant joins in singing ‘Happy Birthday’),” Williams wrote in February. “House Republicans only allowed the measure to pass that recognized Paramore’s win. They blocked Allison.”
“The blatant racism of our state leadership is embarrassing and cruel,” she continued. “I, and Paramore, will continue to encourage young people to vote with equality in mind.”
