Keanu Reeves is one of the nicest men in Hollywood according to everyone he has worked with, and it seems that was no different over 30 years ago. Full House star Lori Loughlin recently recalled working with the John Wick star back in 1988 on the dark comedy The Night Before.

Loughlin is just the latest in a long line of stars to praise the actor for his work ethic, his genuine love for the industry and his co-stars, and his generosity as both a performer and in terms of the gifts he usually bestows upon the crew of the movies he works on. As far as Loughlin is concerned, everything that has previously been said about Reeves is true, as she said during her appearance on the How Rude, Tanneritos! podcast.

Having appeared with Reeves in The Night Before, in which he plays a nerdy guy who takes popular girl Tara (Loughlin) to the high school prom but wakes up the next morning with no memory of what happened the night before and Tara missing. When asked about “nerdy guy” Reeves, the actress gushed:

He was so wonderful. What a lovely, lovely man. He’s just a dream. He really is.

Of course, this is nothing new to hear, but the fact that Reeves seems to have been exactly the same person from the early years of his career through to multi-million-dollar franchises like The Matrix and John Wick is a testament to his character and lack of ego in a time when many other stars are overly eager to push their status in the industry for all it is worth.

In the history of Hollywood, there have been few A-List stars that have garnered as much uncontested praise than Keanu Reeves. Whether it is gifting stunt teams, ensuring his younger co-stars get their moment to shine, or sending thank you letters to veterans of the industry for working with him, the actor seems to be more concerned with anything but his own fame and wealth.

In a world that revolves on power and money, Reeves holds a unique place in an industry that often seems to thrive on ego and profit. When completing filming on John Wick 4, Reeves personally presented custom-made Rolex watches to each member of the stunt team that worked with him on the movie. Additionally, during filming on the action movie, star Rina Sawayama explained how the actor was “amazing” and “so chill” when working on the film, making sure that as someone with little experience, she had everything she needed be able to complete her scenes. At the time, she said:

“Keanu just has such an ordinariness about him – he’s really down to earth, he’s someone who is so chilled and lovely – just great to hang out with like he’s a family member.”
