The artists sing “Nobody Comes to Visit My Heaven Today” together to the tune of fast-paced guitar, harmonica, and a tiny triangle. The video features black-and-white footage of a group of little miscreants doing evil in the most adorable ways possible. The visuals perfectly capture the carefree spirit of the song. “You always feel like you’re supposed to live in this cozy little paradise, but that can get boring pretty quickly when you’re not accompanied by a little devil or succubus,” Zhao said in a statement. “You need to shake things up a bit!”
Chow added that he was honored that Nelson accepted the song without changing the lyrics. “Once he accepted my song and agreed to sing it, which was an honor, I took the liberty of recording it,” he said. “The fact that this country song was approved by Willie Nelson makes me very happy. It’s a real honor and I’m very proud of it.”
The song fits into the overall scope of the album, which also includes the previously released single “São Paulo Motoboy,” and is about celebrating everyday heroes. “The album is called Long live you“Long live you!” says Zhao.
