Stephen Colbert has A star-studded list of guests set to attend his live concert. Late Show Episodes tied to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago next week, where Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Pete Buttigieg are scheduled to appear Monday through Wednesday next week.
The show will be taped live at the Auditorium Theater and will air on CBS and Paramount+. Clinton will appear on the show on Monday, along with Vice President Julia Louis-Dreyfus will be the second guest. She will be joined by Pelosi and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries on Tuesday evening, while Buttigieg will appear Wednesday with Chicago singer Chance the Rapper that evening.
Colbert will also host a live show from Chicago on Thursday, though guests for that show have not yet been listed and will be revealed at a later date. Colbert has done live shows tied to both the Republican and Democratic national conventions in past years. He broadcast live shows last month for the Republican National Convention, though he was not on-site in Milwaukee.
The Democratic National Convention will be a bit different than in previous years, as Kamala Harris already secured the nomination earlier this month after President Biden announced he was stepping down from office. The event will be held at the United Center, and Biden, Barack and Michelle Obama, and Bill and Hillary Clinton are expected to speak.
Biden is scheduled to take the stage during the opening night of the event on Monday; Harris will formally accept the nomination on Thursday and close out the Democratic National Convention that evening.
