Nearly 23 years after its first episode, Family Guy remains a great source of the serious, sexy, taboo-breaking comedy that series creator Seth MacFarlane is known for (and perhaps best known for) his notoriety.
For example: During the final week of its 22nd season, which ended in April, the FX animated sitcom ranked No. 5 on Nielsen’s streaming charts with 751 million minutes watched, becoming the top new series of the week. Of course, the way those millions of fans find and watch “Family Guy” has also changed since the early 2000s, and millennials looking to binge-watch their favorite episodes or college students looking for a favorite show in their dorm might not have cable to watch episodes live on FX.
Fortunately, Hulu has you covered. The streaming platform has all 22 seasons of “Family Guy,” so you can stream any episode with the touch of a button. In addition to its usual apolitical antics, the new episodes of Family Guy have plenty to look forward to. The series has tapped box office star Glen Powell to guest star in two of its holiday specials, which will air exclusively on Hulu. That will remain in effect until next year, when the series officially returns for its 23rd season.
In a Halloween-themed episode, which premieres October 14, Powell will play Patrick McCluskey, the reigning champion of Quahog's annual pumpkin carving contest. Also starring in the episode: Derek Jacobi (Gosford Park, Gladiator) as the voice of Stewie's beloved bear, Rupert.
