The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards are only a few hours away.
The awards show will begin at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday and will air live on MTV, MTV2, BET, BET Her, CMT, CC, Logo, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land and VH1. But cable subscribers can also catch the music-filled night on a variety of live TV streaming services, including DirecTV, Sling TV, Fubo TV and Hulu + Live TV.
The best way to stream the 2024 VMAs live online is on DirecTV, which is currently offering a free trial.
Megan Thee Stallion is hosting this year's ceremony for the first time, which will take place at UBS Arena in New York. The pre-show, hosted by Nessa, Domiti Bongo and Kevan Kinney, begins at 6:30 p.m. ET and will include a performance by South Korean girl group Le Seraphim.
In addition to her hosting duties, the rapper will also perform at the show, as she is nominated for five awards for her self-titled album, which was released in June. Her nominations include Best Collaboration for “Wanna Be,” Best Hip-Hop, Best Direction, Best Visual Effects and Best Art Direction for “Boa.”
But the question on everyone's mind is: Will Taylor Swift attend the 2024 VMAs? The singer likely won't perform or perform at this year's show, but she'll likely be there to celebrate her top 10 nominations. That also means Travis Kelce could make an appearance, too.
Swift will compete with Beyoncé's “Texas Hold 'Em,” Jack Harlow's “Lovin On Me,” Kendrick Lamar's “Not Like Us,” Sabrina Carpenter's “Espresso” and Teddy Swims' “Lose Control.”
Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, Eminem, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA and Swift are competing for the Artist of the Year title.
