The actor says: “Shaming women who poured so much of their hearts and souls into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems unproductive and distracts from the content of this film.” Sklenar goes on to point out the drama going on behind the scenes, but he makes it clear that all of that shouldn't be the focus of attention.

“In fact, it’s quite the opposite. What may or may not have happened behind the scenes should not detract from our intentions in making this film. It’s been disappointing to see so much negativity being projected online.”
