James McAvoy No stranger to movie franchises, he has played Professor Charles Xavier in four X-Men Previous films and also Mr. Tumnus in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the WardrobeHowever, McAvoy almost joined two other major properties, Star Trek and Harry Potter. The latter would have him play the young version of one of the most famous villains in cinema history.
