Jane Fonda, Nick Offerman and other Hollywood figures expressed their support for Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign during virtual fundraising events held Monday evening.

“I can’t remember anything like this where all of a sudden it’s exciting and hopeful and transformative. And I know we’re all excited, but don’t you also feel the tremendous potential of the future that’s opened up?” Fonda asked at a Zoom fundraiser called “Elders for Kamala.” “Not just because the orange guy is terrible, but because Kamala is the leader we need right now. She’s fierce, she’s smart, she’s experienced, and she can take him down.”

“I don't know about you, but I feel it in my body and my bones, we can do this,” she added.

Meanwhile, Offerman attended the online fundraiser “Comics for Kamala,” where he performed a song he wrote about how “proud he is to be a Kamala man.”

“So, I’m proud to be on Kamala’s side, where I know I’ll never see a spray-tanned tool deprive a girl of her racial identity,” Offerman sang as he strummed his guitar. “And J.D. Vance looks like a baby’s butt under that creepy beard. So I’m gonna say it loud and I’m gonna sing it proud, these guys are freaking weird,” he continued.

Ben Stiller, Kathy Griffin, John Stamos, Ed Helms, Tiffany Haddish, Ike Barinholtz, Mark Hamill, and Rosie O'Donnell were also among the guest speakers at the “Comics for Kamala” Zoom gathering, which has raised more than $460,000 so far.

“It was really Kamala all the time,” Kathryn Hahn said during the call, referring to her character Agatha Harkness on the Disney+ series “WandaVision.”

“This is where our work begins,” Hahn continued. “After the relief and joy of the past few weeks naturally began to fade, we need to work harder and we need to work differently than we did last time.”
