Jason Reitman’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ Movie to Premiere in October


The film is a dramatic reenactment of the late-night premiere in 1975.

The film was distributed by Sony Pictures, directed by Reitman and co-written by Reitman and his partners. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Collaborator Gil Kenan. The script is drawn from interviews the filmmakers conducted with cast members, writers, and crew members who worked on the first broadcast of SNL.
