Keith Urban Joins ‘The Voice’ Season 25 as Mega Mentor

Keith Urban will serve as the mega mentor on Season 25 of “The Voice” on NBC.

The season, which premiered on Feb. 26, is led by coaches Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, John Legend and Reba McEntire. Beginning with the April 8 episode, Urban will mentor the remaining artists who have made it through the battle rounds as each team prepares for the knockouts, where artists are paired with a teammate but must select their own songs to perform individually. Coaches will choose the winner from their team to advance to the playoffs, the last round before live shows. Each coach has the opportunity to steal one singer from another coach during knockouts.

Urban is set to release his 12th studio album later in 2024. The project, for which a title has yet to be announced, will include the already released singles “Straight Line” and “Messed Up As Me.” Throughout his career, Urban has won four Grammys, 13 Country Music Association Awards, 15 Academy of Country Music Awards and three American Music Awards.

Urban previously appeared on “The Voice” as an adviser to coach Blake Shelton during Season 15. He also served as a coach in the Australian version of “The Voice” for Seasons 1, 10 and 11.

“The Voice” hails from MGM Television; Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon; and ITV Studios. John de Mol created the series and serves as executive producer alongside Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson, Adam H. Sher and Barry Poznick.
