Long-Time FBI Star Exiting the Show as a New Character’s Brought In


Catherine Renee Kane I'm saying goodbye to the CBS crime drama. FBI Coming into its seventh season after appearing in one final episode, Kane, who joined the cast in season four, plays Special Agent Tiffany Wallace, a character who has been at the heart of many of the show's storylines over the past three seasons. While there will be a wave of new characters joining the show upon her departure, her essential nature to the series will be a big loss for many fans.



In a joint statement with Deadline, the actress shared the reasons for her departure. In a short note, she said:

It's time to look forward to new creative projects. I'm excited about the future and wish the show all the best.

Kane's role as Wallace was unforgettable. Since her appearance on the series, Wallace has used her talents and proven herself to be a brilliant agent. In the final season, her character focused on investigating the murder of Agent Hobbs, whom Tiffany had previously worked undercover with. Wallace's relentless pursuit of the terrorist responsible and her ability to navigate the complexities of her case made her a formidable opponent. By the end of the season, she was finally able to catch up with the killer and deliver her own form of justice.


Discussing her character's future in an interview with TVLine in May, Kane expressed her desire to “heal and grow,” emphasizing the fact that the lasting effects of her final arc have yet to be realized. She added:

“I love to [Tiffany] “I hope Tiffany continues to have moments of rest and breathing and having some fun — in her personal life, but also in her work life with her colleagues. I would love to see Tiffany continue to be a great agent, but also relax into life in a nice way. That would be really cool.”

The series features a talented cast, including Missy Peregrym as Special Agent Maggie Bell and Zico Zaki as Special Agent Omar Adam “OA” Zidane. Tiffany Wallace, who plays Keen, also adds to the team's wonderful dynamic.
