Lucius Lead ‘Every Possible Way’ Charity Compilation for Gun Safety


Lucious, Liz Cooper, Coco and others have contributed covers of classic '90s songs for a new charity, All possible waysRaising funds and awareness for gun violence prevention.

The new project is being helmed by musician and producer Dan Molad, and will be released on December 13 via 3Sirens. The first single from the album – Deep Sea Diver’s cover of Yo La Tango’s “Stockholm Syndrome” – was released today – and additional tracks will be released weekly in the lead-up to the full compilation’s arrival.

“Our hope is that, All possible ways “This project will help raise money for a better future where we don’t have to worry about our children going to school, our brothers and sisters crossing the street, or our parents sitting in the movie theater. We hope to be a small part of a much bigger change.”

In conjunction with the contest, 3Sirens will be making a donation to the Everytown for Gun Safety Fund to further their work in preventing gun violence. Fans will also be able to show support by streaming and sharing songs, as well as donating on the ShowUp fundraising platform.

“I love the work that the Everytown For Gun Safety Support Fund does, and it was a natural fit to contribute to this amazing collection of songs,” said Deep Sea Diver. “I chose Yo La Tengo’s ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ because I love learning their guitar solos and how the song just creeps up on you with its catchiness and simplicity.”

As for All possible ways The tracklist includes Filter's “Take a Picture,” The Verve's “Bittersweet Symphony,” Weezer's “Holiday,” and The Cranberries' “Dreams.” The collection also includes classic '90s hits from artists like the Flaming Lips, Jimmy Eat World, Third Eye Blind, Elastica, and Magnetic Fields.
