Marvel 85 Years Celebration Video Shares New Look at Daredevil, Red Hulk & More



Founded in 1939 by Martin Goodman under the banner of Timely Comics, marvel The brand first entered the zeitgeist in 1961 with the publication of The Fantastic FourSince then, the company has become a staple in the lives of many for decades, spanning generations of fans who remain fascinated by its many characters, stories, comics, TV shows, and movies. To celebrate Marvel’s 85th anniversary, a new video has been released that takes a nostalgic look at the historic company, While also giving fans a fresh look at their upcoming slate of projects.




The celebratory video was released across Marvel’s various social media platforms, including YouTube, and begins with the famous page-turning animation that precedes all of their visual media. It features archival footage of the late Stan Lee, clips from interviews with Kevin Feige, Angela Bassett, and Tom Hiddleston, as well as Lee’s own wonderful voiceover saying, “In comics, and in movies, the story is always the most important element.” While some might argue that Marvel's storytelling style has waned in recent years in favor of a greater focus on visual effects and elaborate set pieces, it's hard to disagree that this was certainly the original direction the company focused on when it first started. First Look at Daredevil: Born Again, Thunderbolts, and More

“It started as an experiment to create an epic story that would become a world of stories. For 85 years, our stories have connected us. We’ve just begun.” These are the words in the Marvel video. They have indeed done just that, as the video gives us a first look at some of their upcoming projects, including Reckless: Born Again, Thunderbolts*and Iron Heartplus another look at Captain America: Brave New World.


Scheduled to launch in February 2025, brave new world Anthony Mackie will appear as Sam Wilson, and Harrison Ford will appear as Red Hulk, who we see in the video. He will be followed by Reckless: Born Again In March on Disney+, which sees the much-anticipated return of Charlie Cox in the iconic red suit. Meanwhile, Thunderbolts* The film is set to be released in May next year, and features a star-studded cast including Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh, Hannah John-Kamen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Harbour, and Wyatt Russell.

Although the exact date has not yet been revealed, Iron Heart It will also premiere on Disney+ in 2025, and will explore the events immediately following 2022. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever With Dominic Thorne as the main protagonist.


As the video says, Marvel certainly shows no signs of slowing down, and despite criticism in recent years for having too many superhero movies and TV shows for people to keep up with, it’s clear that there’s still a hungry audience for their many offerings. 2025 is set to be one of the company’s biggest years yet, not only with the release of the aforementioned titles, but Fantastic Four: The First Steps also.
