In an appearance on CBS Sunday Mornings on September 1, journalist Seth Duane asked Farrow:
Can you separate your experience as an actor in those films from the personal trials and tribulations that would follow?

“Oh yeah, yeah. I totally understand if an actor decides to work with him. I’m not the type to say, ‘Oh, they shouldn’t.’”
While the Connecticut Attorney General's Office investigated the allegation made by Dylan and her mother, they never filed formal charges. After the allegation (which became public during a contentious custody battle between Allen and Farrow), Allen continued to work in Hollywood as a prominent director, helming such acclaimed films as Bullets Over Broadway, Aphrodite the Magnificent, Harry Deconstructed, Match Point, Midnight in Parisand Blue Jasmine To his already impressive list of credits (which included Annie Hall, Manhattan, Hannah and Her Sisters, and Radio Days).
Actors criticize Woody Allen
In 2014, sexual harassment allegations against Allen again made headlines after he was honored at the Golden Globe Awards. In response to Allen's honor, his son Ronan Farrow tweeted about the previous allegation, and the following month, a letter from Dylan was published in The New York Times. In the article, Dylan detailed her allegations of abuse against Allen and criticized some of the actors who had worked with Allen.
In the years since, due to the Time's Up and #MeToo movements, actors and audiences have become more aware of the allegations surrounding Allen. Some actors and audiences have begun to take a stand against the director. Collaborators such as Kate Winslet, Colin Firth, Greta Gerwig, Timothée Chalamet, and Rebecca Hall have publicly expressed regret for working with Allen. Chalamet and Hall have even donated their fees from their collaborations with Allen to the Time's Up movement.
Of course, there are also a number of actors who have come to Allen's defense, including Rifkin Festival Actors Wallace Shawn and Gina Gershon.
